Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifery (ANM)
Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery or ANM, is a diploma programme that focuses on the study of healthcare for distinct people. It also covered how to maintain records, set up the Operation Theatre, care for the equipment and give patients their medication on time.
Students doing an ANM course are trained and equipped to operate as entry-level healthcare providers. The treatment of children, wome, and the elderly is the main focus of ANM.
A career as a nurse practitioner is open to non-science students thanks to the ANM course, which is essentially a diploma programme. However a GNM programme is intended to enrol students with a background in science or who have successfully completed a two-year ANM programme.
